Drs. David Jones and Peter Zajac have over 25 years of combined dental practice experience. Our office is dedicated to providing our patients with excellence in dental health services. We are committed to constantly improving our service by seeking out and taking advantage of opportunities for personal and professional development. We also realize that the real practice of dentistry is centered on people. We therefore dedicate our combined knowledge, experience, resources, training, understanding and patience to create an atmosphere of trust, empathy and caring to all we serve. Above all, we wish to treat our patients with the highest level of integrity. Our goal is to assist our patients in keeping their teeth for a lifetime in maximum health, comfort, function and appearance, and to do so appropriately. We treat patients of all ages, and we are able to converse in English, French, Portuguese, and Polish to assist you, your friends, or relatives while visiting our office. Our Family Dental Center is conveniently located on Pinebush Road, adjacent to the Franklin Boulevard - HWY 401 interchange. We are open until 6 or 7 o'clock in the evening through the week and one Saturday each month. Our office participates in the Dental Emergency Service of Cambridge, consequently, our patients are never without needed urgent dental care at any time. | Appointments | ||||||||
| We attempt to confirm each appointment by telephone the day before. Your dental appointment is reserved specifically for you. We respect the fact that your time is valuable and will endeavor, whenever possible, to make sure your treatment begins and ends on time. If you have a change in plans and are unable to keep your appointment, we request the courtesy of 48 hours notice to allow us to adjust our schedule so other patients may have their needed dentistry done. Your thoughtfulness in this matter will be appreciated by everyone. | ||||||||
| Our Services | ||||||||
| Our dental center provides basic dental services including
thorough examinations, x-rays, fillings, extractions, crowns (caps),
bridges, complete and partial dentures, teeth cleaning and other
periodontal therapies involving the gums and bone.
We also emphasize preventative dentistry. This includes pit and fissure sealants, fluoride treatments, sports mouth guards, night guards, and teeth desensitizing. Suggestions are regularly made to assist patients with their home care to reduce the incidence of future decay, periodontal disease and injury. Our office also performs cosmetic dental services. These procedures include teeth whitening, tooth colored restorations and bonding to create more attractive smiles. |

| Payment of Accounts | ||||||||
| Accounts may be paid with cash, cheque (current and postdated), Interac, Visa and with MasterCard. Financial arrangements are regularly made for extensive uninsured dentistry. | ||||||||
| Continuing Education | ||||||||
| All our staff are regularly involved with continuing education programs to assist us in providing the best advice and the best dentistry possible for our patients. This takes place in the form of dental association journals, study clubs, lectures, society meetings, and conventions. Of course, all our staff are CPR trained as well. | ||||||||
| Dental Insurance | ||||||||
| Although your dental insurance is between you, your
employer, and the insurance company, we want to help you in every way
possible to maximize your benefits and assist you in understanding your
insurance policy, completing claim forms, and sending predetermination
forms for you.
There are a great variety of insurance plans. These plans often
change every year or two. Your employer or union will have precise
written information regarding your current benefits, maximums,
deductibles, and co-insurance. They should provide this information
for you. |
